CATCard – Policy and Terms & Conditions for Users

Welcome to CATCard. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our platform and services by registered users (“you” or “the user”). By signing up for CATCard, you agree to comply with the following policies, as well as any applicable laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

1. Introduction

CATCard is a digital membership card that provides exclusive discounts and perks at partner venues. By using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 21 years old to use CATCard.
  • Membership is personal and non-transferable.
  • We reserve the right to verify your identity and eligibility at any time.
  • Must have a current working position on an institution, school, university or similar, as a teacher/educator/instructor.

3. Use of the CATCard

To enjoy the benefits of CATCard:

  • Present your valid, active CATCard before requesting a discount.
  • Offers cannot be combined with other promotions unless explicitly stated.
  • All offers are subject to each partner venue’s specific terms and availability.
  • CATCard is not responsible if a venue declines a discount due to their own policies.

4. Modifications of Offers

CATCard and partner venues may modify, suspend, or discontinue any offer without prior notice. We will regularly update our website and/or app to reflect the most current offers.

5. Responsibility and Limitations

  • CATCard acts solely as a discount and promotions provider.
  • We are not responsible for the quality, service, or overall experience at partner venues.
  • Any complaints about a venue’s products or services should be addressed directly with the venue.

6. Privacy and Data Use

We respect your privacy. Your personal data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable UAE data protection laws.

We do not share your personal details with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

7. Termination and Account Suspension

CATCard reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms & Conditions.
  • You misuse the CATCard or attempt fraudulent activity.
  • Payment issues occur and are not resolved in a reasonable timeframe.

8. Membership Renewal and Payments

  • CATCard memberships are billed on a recurring basis according to your subscription plan.
  • Renewal payments are processed automatically unless you cancel your subscription.
  • It is your responsibility to keep your payment details up-to-date.

9. Unsubscribing from CATCard

If you wish to stop your CATCard membership, you may unsubscribe directly from this page by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link below.

Important:

  • Your membership will remain active until the end of the current paid period.
  • No further payments will be charged after the cancellation date.

10. Refunds and Complaints (UAE Consumer Law Compliance)

In line with UAE Consumer Protection Law:

  • Refunds are available in cases where CATCard services were not delivered as described or there is a technical issue preventing usage.
  • Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of payment.
  • To request a refund, email contact@catcard.ae with your full name, membership ID, payment receipt, and reason for the request.

If you wish to lodge a formal complaint:

  1. Contact us at contact@catcard.ae.
  2. If your concern is not resolved, you may escalate it to the UAE Consumer Protection Department via the Ministry of Economy.

12. Governing Law
